This package comes with everything you need for your Neuton CE6 mower. The battery, new blade, and blade sharpener are super useful and function well. The trimmer attachment is quite useless in my opinion though. It's bulky on the mower and you cant edge
as well as you can with a handheld trimmer. all in all its a good deal for the money.

Charger

The charger you sent me shuts off after a little while. I have to unplug it and plug it back end to make it start then it shuts of again. I have an old charger I'm using to charge my battery! What should I do? Everything else is great!!!!!!

Disappointed

I was disappointed with the edger attachment I used with my new CE6 mower. Having used the CE5 mower since 2005 with it's edger attachment, I just assumed it would be just as good. It's not. For one thing, it's on the wrong side of the mower! It's very
hard to edge curves and it seems that the mower can't get low enough to produce a nice definite lawn edge on straightaways. If you have a curved sidewalk - forget it. I'm hoping that with use, I'll be able to figure it out, but with the CE5 mower it wasn't
like that. The edger on the CE5 mower was easy to use and produced a nice edge every time. Very disappointed :-(

I am returning the trimmer/edger. It is too clumsby to use on the mower. Shoult not have been put on the market by a company of your status. The rest of the order was ok. I am not asking for a refund, just returning it. Do what you want with it. Foy Ray

Trimmer does not work

Battery is great but I can't get the trimmer to work in my mower. I need to contact customer support to figure out why it is not working.

I have been using a Whisper Lite mower for the past 8 years, I have acquired a Newton CE6 from a friend and I am even more than happy with the newer model. The accessory kit is just what I needed to carry me through the mowing season. I will stick with this product ,it serves me well.

Very easy to use on smaller flat lawns and quiet

I had a CE5 previously which wore out (the handle bars would not stay tightened in place, the batteries would need annual replacing and the mower would loose power with a fully charged battery). I upgraded to the CE6. My lawn is about 1/3 acre and I'm glad I got the extra battery. There are very small inclines on the sides (about 3 feet) which are a bit challenging to push this heavier mower up and it is harder to turn at the corners. I've only used it about a month and the name is already peeling off. I like the battery charge indicator and it is still quiet enough that I can listen to books on my iPod while mowing. It is easy to use, no pull cord to start or electrical cord to drag around.

I'm a big fan of Neuton/ DR products. Have several, on my 2nd mower. I was SHOCKED, therefore, by the difficulty of attachment and removal of the Trimmer/ Edger in this Premier Package. It is poorly positioned, so scalps & gouges, not really adjustable. For this piece of molded plastic, the cost is very high.
So, anything related to the trimmer is basically useless. The charger is unnecessary, as one comes with the mower. The extra battery is great to have! Ihave an acre of yard/ garden, & my tough little mower handles any & everything!

Long lasting battery and great service

I purchased CE6 Battery mower package and the battery works super. This battery is to replace the original that came with the mower that I bought 3 years ago. I am able to mow my entire lawn on one charge. Last year, toward the end of the season I noticed I could only do about half the lawn, therefore I needed a new battery. When I called with a question the service dept had the answer so I hung-up and placed the order on line. It came the day we received 14 inches of snow. I could have waited as Neuton 's next promotion was the same price but with free shipping. You know how it is - you win some and you lose some.

Does not do a good job

The weedeater arm does not easily reach to area that needs to be cut. It is difficult to manage.

I brought the accessories package for the CE6 Neuton Mower. I needed a new battery, charger, and new blade for my 5 year old mower. For the price I could not pass up the package deal. The battery is the best one I have owned. Thank You

The ease of operation, i.e. battery charging, 2-step start, battery swap all combine to make lawn maintenance an enjoyable experience. I am still "learning" to operate the edger/trimmer attachment.

I have a two acre lot with lots of lawn and trees and I needed a push mower to handle trimming chores around trees, shrubs, etc. The neuton mower has performed these tasks very well and i am especially pleased with the string edger attachment. The battery has real staying power and mower clean up is easy.

We have about 1/3 acre, and this battery is wonderful. We have had a very rainy spring and the lawn requires cutting about every 2 to 3 days. The battery performs above expectation and has been a great addition. On a side note the battery powered CE6 mower is the best. All of our neighbors are jealous of the quite sound coming from such an energy efficent mower. Keep up the good work Neuton!!!

Two is better than one

When it canes to rechargeable mowers, two batteries are better then one. Batteries sometimes are forgotten after we finish mowing and the next time we go to mow we have a dead battery. By having a standby battery we always have a full charge.
The sharpener works extremely well and safe and easy to use.

The trimmer is awkward to use. Maneuvering the trimmer on the mower requires a significant effort. I would not buy the trimmer as a separate item.

A.The handheld sharpener has a "V" shaped notch that you place the edge to be sharpened into. Then simply draw the blade through that notch.
