The charger does not work, I have to use my old charger to charge the battery.

Battery charges very quickly and charge lasts several operational hours. Blade is balanced and sturdy. Sharpener is convenient and easy to use. Trimmer is easy to mount, dismount and use. String is durable, easy to feed and spool easy to refill and change out.

Battery and charger are great, the edge trimmer attachment is no good, does not work, so it is useless. All connection are clean but it does not turn on so it was a waste of my $$$$

I bought this kit for a mower a purchased several years ago (the battery was giving up). Exactly what I expected. The battery charged quickly and I was able to mow, edge, and weed-eat our average-size lawn in short order. I used the edger on a sidewalk area that had not been edged in months (years?) so it was a rough job. It took a while and a bit of the spool, but it handled it. Swaps easily between mowing/weed-eating with a flip of a switch. Rotation between edging and weed-eating was a little stiff, but pretty painless. Have not used the sharpener on the blade yet, but my son had great luck with it for his pocket knife. Came with a couple extra spools which are not pictured.

Neuton CE5 Premier Package

I have been trying to get this package combination ever since I first bought my Neuton CE5. I think it took about 9 months before you had them in stock again, but it is a great addition to the mower. I am retired and I also have lost motion in my right elbow from playing tennis for almost 40 years. It was too hard for me to start a regular trimmer with that injury, and it was also too much weight for the joint to hold. This makes it very easy for me and it does a great job, as either a weed eater or edger. I even find my husband using it, even though he still likes his Stilh for use on our farm. Also, we have vinyl siding on our house and this is much "kinder" to the siding then the larger weed eaters. I am very pleased with the product. We have a DR Trimmer, but it throws too much debris around. This does not.

Having an extra battery and blade gives me peace of mind when doing extensive yard work. The trimmer attachment is handy; however it is hard to maneuver around permanent objects since it only fits on one side of the mower. Works well, otherwise.

The trimmer/edger attachment is, by far, the best garden/lawn tool I own. I can quickly trim the edges of the lawn before mowing; and then turn around after cutting the lawn, and give it a professional looking edge.

Love this mower

I had an old reel mower for several years (I never wanted to store gasoline in my shed. When I first looked into battery op mower, I was unsure - but I love this mower! 3 years, it works beautifully. One charge easily gets my entire lawn mowed. It is quieter than gas powered mowers, and with the grass catcher attachment, my yard always looks good!

I really enjoy having the spare battery so I can just change out the old one & keep mowing. The trimmer works great. I have used the sharpening tool on every thing from shears to sissors to knives. The only item I haven't used yet is the replacement mower blade.

The accessory package was purchased mainly for the trimmer attachment and the spare battery. The additional items in the package (spare blade and sharpener) are a nice bonus. The battery provided in the mower is so good, my lawn does not require a backup, but it is good to have a spare anyway.

i like this cordless lawn mower , i am able to cut my grass on a new baterry for 3 times on the same charge, as battery gets older it is less and less, my first battery is two years old and i can not finish cutting my grass once.Easy to use,easy to put into storage and does a very nice job of cutting the grass.

This is a really nice mower because it's light enough for me or my wife to lift into the storage and around the yard, and the best thing is freedom from the extension cord. The battery is easy to change, and we bought two to be sure we could finish the job. Does a great job mowing, and is very easy to change the height because there's one lever instead of having to change one at each wheel. Also, in the long run it should last longer because it's plastic, so won't rust out like our old ones did, Highly recommended!

I'm very happy with my Neuton lawnmower and now with the attachment for trimming and edging, my lawn maintence is much less strenuous and time consuming. I called to order a battery but decided to order the accessory package because of the value. The customer service person told me I would really like the edger/trimmer. She was right.

Trimmer didn't work out

The trimmer is a great idea, but in practice it is not all that easy to maneuver, especially in small spaces. For mainly open areas or long straight stretches, it would be great, but that's now how things are in our yard. We'll go back to a smaller, hand-held trimmer.

We acquired a neutron mower from a friend who no longer had a yard. She said she didn't think it worked but might just be the battery. We purchased the bundle with battery, blade, sharpener, weed whacked attachment and spare mower blade. Wow have we been pleasantly surprised not only was the cost a great bargain but the performance has been excellent. The only issue we had was it was on back order not readily available, took three weeks to get but worth the wait

I decided to purchase this package more so for the extra battery than anything else. Here's a short review of what I've come across. Battery: 1. It's nice to have since I sometimes let my grass get too high and the battery gives out a little quicker than I anticipate. So having a charged battery waiting in the wings is a nice thing to have. String Trimmer: 1. This is an attachment I've really had to get used to. I honestly struggled with it at first, but has only gotten easier. The shroud/cover catches my chain link fence a little too easily and, unless I'm using it wrong, I'm always repositioning myself to get the cut I want to see. The nice thing is you get a lot of line and it actually lasts a good amount of cutting time. Additional Charger: 1. I haven't needed to use this, but here's a helpful tip: I made the mistake of charging my batteries back to back without first unplugging the charger then plugging it back in. Because of a neat little feature of the charger shutting off after the battery has reached its capacity, you'll have to unplug the charger between batteries because it will stay in its "shut-off" stage until it's reset (by unplugging). I haven't had to use the additional blade or sharpener, but will more than likely have to next season since I'm pretty hard on my mowers. All in all, this may be considered a good buy if you have the money, otherwise you may at least want to buy an extra battery and maybe stretch out using your current string trimmer (if possible). Thanks.

This package was a fantastic deal! New Battery and case, blade, charger, sharpener, and trimmer. for what a battery itself costs. The charger is the new smart charger, it only charges as needed, saving battery life. It also cuts down electricity use.

BATTERY AND TRIMMER NOT UP TO SNUFF

I NEEDED A NEW BATTERY FOR MY NEUTON MOWER AND DECIDED TO GET THE ACCESSORY PACKAGE. I THOUGHT THAT THE TRIMMER/EDGER WOULD MEAN ONE LESS PIECE OF EQUIPMENT FOR ME TO USE. WHAT I DISCOVERED WAS THAT THE BATTERY I RECEIVED DOES NOT LAST AS LONG AS MY ORIGINAL BATTERY DID. I CHARGED IT AS INSTRUCTED BUT IS BARELY LASTS 2/3 AS LONG AS THE ORIGINAL BATTERY, WHICH IS NOW ON ITS LAST LEGS. I DO LIKE THE AUTO SHUT OFF FEATURE ON THE NEW BATTERY HOWEVER. THE TRIMMER/EDGER MAY SEEM LIKE A GOOD IDEA BUT IT IS VERY AWKWARD TO USE ON ANYTHING BUT STRAIGHT FLAT SURFACES. AND TO CREATE A CLEAN EDGE IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. THE BLADE AND SHARPENER ARE GOOD ADDITIONS.

Q.The side discharge for the Neuton CE5 battery powered mower, I don't find anything listed in the accessories.
A.The side discharge chute for both the Neuton CE5 and CE6 Lawn Mower allows for proper discharge of the grass, which prevents clogging. However, it is not available to order on line at this time. Q.Is the CE 5 lighter than the CE 6?

The Neuton CE-5 mower weighs 33 lbs with out the battery and 48 lbs with the battery and has a 14 inch wide cut. The Neuton CE-6 mower weighs 46 lbs with out the battery and 69 lbs with the battery and has a 19 inch wide cut.
